This is Ess - or Essdy (es-dee). As a professional hairdresser/stylist, he spends about 1/3 of his life in this position. Hahaha- Mild overstatement, but he does spend about 5-10 hours every weekend or two redoing his tail, and anywhere from 20min to 2 hours doing his head-hair every morning, as an advertisement of his abilities.
Because he's so good at his job, he makes a decent living - and he really enjoys his work. Also enjoys going out on the town to show off his work and advertise for himself :3
EDIT: Oh, I almost forgot!! He's a big proponent of hair extensions, and about a third of the length and volume of both his head-hair and his tail-hair are from high quality extensions. He believes people shouldn't be constricted to the amount of hair that they're born with, and should be free to express themselves with their hair however they want. Well, 'free' in only one sense x'D Extensions are expensive!! ...He does them really well, no one would know he had them (or his clients who do them) unless they were to brush through the hair themselves, or ask.
Once had a fairy that had been with him since childhood, but it was killed by a customer that had a temper. Ess went to jail for the following assault, and hasn't been able to find that braided tail to finish the job. Really misses that fairy, who was his best friend. Had the flower tattooed on his arms is to remember him by.
...His 'name' is an acryonym (SD) for his real name, which he doesn't share due to the embarrassment of it He thinks his parents must have hated him x'D haha.
