While awakened either as a terminal or resonator, Shine Flute appears as a young child bearing the horns, wings and tail of a great eastern dragon. The Shine Flute has picked up the pronouns of "She/Her" and will be referred to as such for the remainder of this piece.

While not as nearly well read as the Sea Bell, the Shine Flute has her own wisdom she brings to her owners. Her draconic appearance and stoic disposition help perpetuate this image of a cool, collected girl whose knowledge matches her unending lifespan.

And most people will only see that part of her. She decided many hundreds of moons ago there would only be very few to know her true self.

She's quite a lazy girl, not wanting to really go out adventure like her contemporaries. She's perfectly fine living in the same place and doing the same routine over and over again until the end of time.

She's quite confident in herself and is hard to waver, even direct attacks on her (whether physical or emotional) can't shake her mentally. She's as consistent and unmovable as the sun that the earth orbits.

There are a very select few for whom she opens up for. Where her normal demeanor shows confidence to the point of being almost blunt or cynical, her inner heart is the biggest of all of the Orchestra of Heaven, even the bleeding-heart Blaze Lyre has nothing on Shine Flute when she truly cares about someone.

To those rare few individuals, she becomes closer than family. Someone who cares deeply about her owner to her own detriment. And for those very few, she sheds the most tears when finally alone.


(Note: The below abilities only apply while Shine Flute is owned as a Resonator. While owned as a terminal, these abilities are unavailable and Shine Flute provides: While held, Solar spells cast by maestro cost no rhythm)

Species Bonus: Dragon of Legend - Venti Diurni  and Cielo Sereno can be activated for free. Solar and Healing spells are cast one level higher than called for no additional cost. Additionally, this resonator can fly and carry linked maestro for free.
Element Bonus: Minor rhythm restoration while under strong sunlight
ad LibertumVenti Diurni - Solar class skill. Can control the direction and movement of the wind. 

Cielo Sereno Solar class skill. Upon activation, automatically casts Chiaro Cielo Mattutino and prevents changing of the weather while this skill is active.

Basic Solar attack, energy-based attack that deals Solar damage. Increasing rank increases damage.

Flusso del Vento

Basic Wind attack, creates hard wind energy that strikes the target.

Guardando il Sole 
(Presto, Allegro, Moderato, Adagio, Lento)
Basic solar spell. Creates a ball of blindingly bright light. Increasing ranks increases the duration of the light and distance reached. May inflict temporary blindness. 

Respingere 
(Tenuto or Mosso)
Basic shield spell. Makes a small barrier around the user. Modifier “Tutti” allows this to target. Tenuto sustains the barrier. Mosso creates an instant shield. Mosso typically isn’t used by normal Maestros.

La Bella Vita 
(Presto, Allegro, Moderato, Adagio, Lento)
Basic Healing spell, when cast normally heals self, when cast with the modifier “tutti” it can be applied to a target

Protuberanza solare 
(Pianissimo, Piano, Forte, Fortissimo)
Advanced Solar attack, energy-based attack that deals solar damage. Chance of inflicting temporary blindness. Increasing rank increases damage and chance for blindness

Raffica Discendente
(Presto, Allegro, Moderato, Adagio, Lento)
Advanced Wind spell. Creates a strong wind of descending air that crushes the target to the ground.

Vortice di Vento
(Pianissimo, Piano, Forte, Fortissimo)
Advanced Wind spell. Creates a tornado that hones in on target. Increasing ranks increases wind speed and duration of spell.

Chiaro cielo mattutino
Advanced Solar spell. Clears any sky based effects and grants a bonus to any solar spells cast for a small period. Can be used at night as well.

Advanced Solar Spell; user increases rhythmic gravity around themselves, drawing in spells with the same rank or lower. If cast with Tutti, spells drawn in will only be those of lower rank.

Vento in Poppa
(Accelerando or Rallentando)
Advanced Wind Spell; when cast in Accelerando a wind blows behind the user, increasing their movement speed. When cast in Rallentando, a stream of wind is blown towards the target, making it more difficult for them to move forward.

Bastioni del Ritmo
Advanced Shield spell. Creates a wall of the user’s element as a sustained effect.

Riflettore Musicale
(Pianissimo, Piano, Forte, Fortissimo)
Advanced Shield spell. Creates a shield which can reflect attacks. The rank needs to match the attack being reflected otherwise, it will break through

L'orizzonte Scudo
(Accelerando or Rallentando)
Advanced Shield spell. Draws spells towards the user for a small period of time. Accelerando ramps up this effect until it expires, Rallentando starts strong but fades quickly.

Purifica L'anima
Status ailment remover, works on mental debuffs as well as physical ones. Modifier “tutti” can apply this spell to a target

Remove a target sustained effect from a spell. Won’t work on instant spells (attacks, heals, etc)

Eruzione Solare 
(Legato)
Solar-Fire Spell that creates an intense burst of light coupled with a wind carrying fire. The burst does not last long and dissipates quickly with distance. May inflict blindness and/or singeing.

Ciclo Dell'acqua
(Legato)
Solar-Water spell that increases local water content in the air, making it harder to breathe for non-water elements, increases water damage for the duration of the spell

Solar-Nature spell, grants the user photosynthesis removing hunger (if any) and restoring the user's health

Vento Elettrico
(Legato)
Solar-Lightning spell, causes an EMP like effect which disables electronics nearby but also has the effect of temporarily stopping rhythm transfer for a small period.

Brillantezza Polvere di Stelle
(Legato)
Solar-Earth spell, summons a crystal that stores sunlight. The crystal can be used to restore the user's rhythm or have the energy released as an attack.

Eclissi Solare
(Legato)
Solar-Lunar spell, chance to blind the target and deals solar damage in the form of a ray  of dark light striking the target.

La fine di una stella 
(Ultrissimo)
Ultimate level solar spell. Upon first cast, it deals catastrophic solar damage. As a side effect of the massive output this ALWAYS kills the maestro, literally burning away their soul and body. Should the resonator cast it a second time with a different maestro, the resonator instead perishes and becomes a black hole of rhythm. When enough rhythm gathered, an explosion is generated on a massive scale.

Ultimate level healing spell. Those who the user deems allies become completely invulnerable to any attack effects. While it appears the targets are invincible, it’s actually healing at beyond instant speed, taking the damage and healing the effects of the attack BEFORE it lands on the target
