Blitz grew up in a small village with roughly thirty people. He was found as an egg, with no hint as to where he came from or if he had any family. The entire village helped raised him, passing him back and forth until eventually he decided he could take care of himself. At first everyone just thought he was some sort of lizard, albeit a tad weird, but as he grew it became apparent he was actually a dragon.
When he was about ten, his wings begun to grow. When he turned fourteen, he accidentally breathed fire for the first time. He's still having a rough time figuring out the whole fire thing, and his ability to use it isn't something to rely on.
As most dragons do, Blitz ended up with an affinity for jewels and gems. When he was little he had a rock collection. Nowadays, that collection contains tons of sparkling gems, though he kept his favorite stone from when he was little as the prized piece.
