Cameron West's Links
[Best Friend] Frederick's best friend, or more the only person that's capable of withstanding his cold gaze for so long. Often counters the detective's harsh attitude with his lighthearted one. Helps him with his requests and when people are too suspicious of Frederick's real position. In return he drags him with him to bars for karaoke.
[Best Friend] Cameron's best friend. No matter how distant Frederick is, Cameron's always there like some puppy eager to play. Every insult the detective hurls Cameron laughs off. Despite this, Frederick would concede that the cop is far more deadlier than him.
[Related] He's Decius's son. Still loves his dad with all his heart despite being turned immortal against his will. Visits him regularly and helps him with his "experiments". Jokingly calls him Dr. Dad.
[Related] Father to Cameron. Even when he's Decius he still recognizes him and loves him. Gets his "experiments" from him and also helps with his weapons. Jokingly calls him Officer Son.
What was life-changing for Smiley was just an average day for Cameron. Came very close to adding the killer to his collection of terminated immortals. Hasn't seen Smiley's murders in his area ever since, but looks forward to the day they run into each other again.
What should have been an easy kill resulted with him nearly losing his life. Hasn't killed in that area since.
Smiley acknowledges Cameron as stronger, and upon many occasions has shown fear towards the man.
[AU - Lover] They're the same, but different. That's what drew Cameron to Xenzis. He found the man fascinating, if not adorable, even despite the bloody gore he witnessed. He encouraged the man to be around him more, giving him all the praise and attention he wanted in return. They're a twisted pair, just how he likes it.
[AU-Lover] Desperate for love, Xenzis quickly found Cameron more than attractive, his power, his love for gore, all things that made Xen gravitate towards Cameron like a moth to a light. All the attention he got made him feel loved, and their mutual love for gore cemented him there.
Cameron acknowledges Cecil as his boss, but he still has tons of fun teasing the poor guy. He loves making fun of his height and his young looks, enjoying the angry reactions he gets. Occasionally he'll invite the chief to karaoke with him, although that could be just to watch the bar staff treat him like a child.
Cecil is Cameron's boss. He's always trying to get that goof to stop playing around and take his job seriously. All he gets in return are short jokes.
[Exes] Cameron gravitated towards Daniel perhaps from the very first day the timid man started work. He loved messing with someone so timid yet so innocent, and eventually those feelings for him developed further into a romantic love. He did authentically love Daniel, and it was for that reason he decided it best to leave.
He understands why Daniel would hate him after finding out just who he was, but it hurts more than the cop thought. And for someone like him, he needs to take that anger out on someone...
[Exes] Daniel wasn’t aware of it—of any of it, really, beyond Cameron constantly flouting his duties to the law, which he already might have grown tired of if they had actually spent a lifetime together. If. As is, it’s...he’s not ready to confront it fully, and in the back of his mind he doesn’t think he’ll ever be. The nightmares won’t stop. He hates Cameron fully: all the more because he loved him, and let himself believe he could trust him. He hates what Cameron has made him partially responsible for. By the time he and Cameron fell in love he already never felt safe with anyone, not really, but now the reasons are so much clearer. Daniel’s feelings were real, but nothing of them remains: or as little is as possible—it’s not even that -he- has to live with this knowledge; whenever he thinks of Cameron now, he thinks of the innocent dead...
Detective Walker is such a nice man, always smiling and showing him pics of his grandchildren. Poor guy doesn't even suspect that Cameron was the one who tore his wife apart like that. The officer always finds it funny when the unaware detective talks to him.
Cameron is always entertaining to see when Jey's around. He's always energetic and does something fun! He reminds the detective of his ball of energy grandson. Still, he can't help but feel like something's off. Maybe it's because Cameron seems to have an easy time being around Detective Waltz...?
Cameron never thought he'd see the day Freddy would buckle and have a kid. He wasn't sure what he was expecting, but he sure as hell didn't think the kid would be EXACTLY like Freddy! It's almost scary.
Being Frederick's closest friend, Cameron is like an uncle to Charlotte. He's always trying to make her laugh and smile but unfortunately fails. She does respect him, though.
Yet she can't help but wonder why he doesn't age when her parents do.
Cameron considers Keith a close friend. They're both alike, they both love torturing people! It's the first time Cameron's actually found someone to share this with, so needless to say they two are around each other constantly.
It's always fun to be around Cameron. If Keith had to describe his feelings towards him, he'd say that it's like finally obtaining the action figure he always wanted. Cameron's got the good stuff, which leaves Keith wanting to hang around him even more.
Cameron enjoys the breath of fresh air that's Ryan. Everyone's so grumpy and cranky, but this guy sure knows how to enjoy himself! Although if Cameron's being honest, he's far more interested in how Ryan's work on Smiley's case is going...
Without a doubt, Cameron is one of his best bros! He's probably the only one who gets his jokes in the police station; everyone else just stands there awkwardly or glares at him. The lad is chill and is genuinely really fun to hang out with. He likes macaroni too, so that's a bonus!
Kiddo's a lot smarter than he gave him credit for! Figured out all of the things Cameron had did, even to his, what, ancestor at this point? Even with all the facts staring him in the face, Cameron can't help but grin.
Lock used to look up to Cameron, he was always excited to see him! To think that all this time there was a monster smiling back at him...
He remembers seeing the two kids running around trying to solve crimes. Now they're all grown up! Wonder if they'll end up solving the biggest crime they know...?
Cher had desperately hoped that it wasn't true, that somehow, the evidence wasn't actually pointing out to a man she looked up to as a hero as a child, but he truly is just a monster to the core...
Lachlan has a pretty interesting energy to him, and he doesn't really play by the books either. Cameron's interested in him, though if he starts prying too much they might have a little problem.
The one he's most interested in- for any list of reasons. He plans to be in-hand with Cameron and help him out, with some thinly veiled threats that he'll not hesitate to throw him in prison if he loses interest. A nice song-and-dance for the two, one could say.
Cameron was a little surprised to meet Bleu at first, but he's always happy to have help catching his dad's experiments. She's always got this dull look on her face, so he thinks it's cute when he can rile up some kind of emotion.
Bleu tries to keep herself as passively indifferent to Cameron as she can, however, the man just has a way of working his way under her skin and she cannot help but find him annoying. He always seems to be looking for a way to irritate her from flirting to making annoying jokes a hundred times a day and she has been known on more than one occasion to shoot him in the head knowing full well he can't die rather than let him see her embarrassed face.
Man, that Zack guy is so serious! Not only is he all gloom and doom, he's pretty hostile! It's because of that attitude, though, that Cameron has the time of his life pushing his buttons.
In Zack's eyes, Cameron is an absolute PEST. He didn't really think much about him in the beginning, but the eyelash comment was what really got to him. Zack only has one wish, and it's to beat the crap out of the cop. There's no way in hell they could ever get along...
An undead woman, you don't see that everyday! That's what caught Cameron's curiosity at first, but he quickly grew fond of Lola. The way she'd respond to his teases was always so fun, but there's just something about her that's so cute, too! He likes spending time with her and wouldn't mind skipping work to do just that!
Cameron... uh... he was kind of annoying at first, always so cheerful like some weird walking sunshine person but he just kept coming back and as much as she tried to, she couldn't bring herself to dislike him. None of his teasing was ever mean spirited (which instantly made him better than a lot of people she had met in the past), if anything it was flattering? Another thing that she didn't quite understand. That was not the usual response she got from people... She still doesn't know what to make of Cameron but she may just have developed a bit of a crush on that guy. Oops.
