Chumpa

In true otter fashion, Chumpa is extremely playful and curious. His mother was the companion of Kacha long before he was born; she spent her whole life as Kacha's pet and friend. She was an exceptionally bright little otter, but he did not inherit her intelligence. Clumsy and a little stupid, while his siblings went on to live in the wild, Chumpa stayed at his mother and Kacha's side, relying on them for food and comfort. When his mother passed and Kacha found herself lonely, she was glad for his company. Now, the two are nearly inseparable. His name means 'sweet' in Seminole.
