Leon Mercury Kahananui

Currently a student researcher at Monash University, Leon Mercury  Kahananui is best known for developing and implementing an  astronomy-centered physics curriculum within his school district! A  cheery, hard-working person, Leon makes a point of being constantly  upbeat and sociable - academia, he argues, is often inaccessible because  of the high-level jargon used, so he feels it's his responsibility to  make it easier for all to understand and share his genuine love of  space. Despite this, he has openly stated his dislike for the technical  and mathematic side of astronomy, so was surprised when Hope's Peak scouted him.

The easiest way to describe Leon is as an eternal optimist, often to the detriment of the situation. Or, in other words, keep your chin up and your head in the sand! This doesn’t mean he actively goes against common sense, he just thinks it’d be better for everyone if we just get along. To this end, he’s very easygoing and casual, and actually quite enthusiastic in conversations… if you don’t mind that he’s also completely ignoring the death game.

I’m aware he shares a given name with the DR1 character, I swear that it wasn’t intentional. I haven’t played canon. Please leave me be.
