Vampiric

Born like any other creature, Dracula was raised in a small, out of the way village. But he was born... Odd. With shriveled up protrusions upon is back, small ears, odd eyes and sharp teeth. A creature feared by most of the tribe. 

His parents loved him however, and raised him well. Even if they seemed to sense from the start something dangerous in their son. He felt an almost constant hunger that was never sated by the meat, fish, or plants brought by his parents. And the look he gave whenever another member was bleeding... The hunger almost burned whenever he could smell the blood of his own. 

But still he resisted, not wanting to disappoint his parents. Ignoring the urge, the desire, and doing all he could to pretend it didn't exist... Until it happened. 

He didn't know what had happened. All he knew was that his father went out with a hunting party, and came back limp and without his life. 

Everything changed then, getting his first taste of blood, everything then seemed to click, and he turned upon the clan. The odd things on his back growing and regenerating into wings, power coursing through him the more he drank. 

Now, he is a lord... a king all unto himself. Residing in a hidden away castle, praising the deity of darkness, but mostly doing whatever he pleases and what entertains him. Drinking whoever crosses his path... unless of course he hops into bed with them instead.
