Valentin is adept at creating and manipulating dreams. He is able to touch on a dream so delicately that it is rare anyone is aware of his presence. Sometimes he will use his ability to only watch a dream unfold, and other times he will change a dream to imprint some sort of suggestion on the mind. It is most often used to help bring a sense of peace to someone who is feeling stressed or anxious in the waking world.
When not working on dreams, Valentin seems to be lost in one all the same. If asked to share his thoughts, he seems to have a difficult time articulating them in ways that someone would be able to understand. It almost appears to confuse him that others aren't already aware of what he is thinking, but then he deals with matters most aren't aware of.
Valentin experiences both visual and auditory hallucinations. These do not often occur together, and they do not happen all the time, but they happen enough that he has a difficult time realizing what is real. It makes him doubt his own memories, and it often has him doubting others as well. Sometimes he can be seen interacting with the hallucinations, and this concerns the members of the Magical Society. Many of them try to keep an eye out for the quiet, delicate individual. It's something he is aware of, and he seems to rather likes the attention even if he does not say as much.
