Though he was not born with the name, Trepidation, or Trep for short, has long come to accept it. It was a nickname given to him due to foreseeing only negative events with his magical abilities of premonition. The magic causes him great distress and worry because there's nothing he can do to prevent what he sees. He has tried to warn others, but one way or another, the premonition always comes trues. Worse yet, Trep isn't even sure if by seeing the event, he's at cause for it happening. Perhaps if he never had the premonition the other would be safe.
Trep manages to keep a positive outlook on life by helping others out in any way that he can. Some might say that he goes too far, or will offer help when it's not wanted or needed, but he is desperate to make up for his negative visions in some way. He is also incredibly interested in magic that can help, and has taken an interest in healing. While he is unable to heal by magical means, he is learning about herbs, salves, and other means of healing that he can manage.
