Nightingale

NightingaleSong is the youngest daughter of SwiftMask and OrchidDream, sister to MushroomMoor, FleurLily, WisteriaWater and DreamDaze. Born into MoonClan Nightingale was raised amongst the shadows and wooded territory. She additionally was born with elongated fangs and being the youngest left SwiftMask to baby her all her life.

Straight out of the nursery NightingaleKit had a distaste for her other father’s coddling of her siblings. But not only that as kit she had grown close to a former loner named BasilBunch, who of which had been falling for her uncle SnowFall. Growing close as friends they two were inseparable. But when word of badgers prowling around was spread Basil took SnowFa and NightingaleKit out to go explore the territory. Oh their travels a massive badger came across the group, killing SnowFall and taking his body far from the clans, injuring BasilBunch and leaving NightingaleKit unscathed from the experience. Basil was promptly exiled when they returned, that day NightingaleKit swore she would hate BearStar till her dying day. With her best friend exiled Night is left to grow into rebellion. 

Her apprenticeship was rather normal, nothing out of the ordinary. She was trained under a former sunclanner CormorantSkip who had joined to reunite with his son GoslingSnore. SwiftMask wasn’t fond of this and tried countless times to train the young shecat himself. At her first gathering NightingaleSong has an argument with OrchidDream and the two almost fight but the gathering is cut short when MoonClan returns home with a mysterious kit, the kit’s siblings are left to SunClan.

Soon NightingalePaa became NightingaleSong and had a fairly easy going warriorhood. She did her best as a warrior and was rather good at it all. But as her straining relationship with her family becomes apparent and Night begins to crumble under it all she meets a SunClan warrior named FlashMoon. Her and FlashMoon hit it off immediately and they go to Mushroom Marsh for a first date sort of deal. Little do both know that SwiftMask is following them and stops their little date once he realizes Flash is a SunClan cat. This leads SwiftMask to almost kill FlashMoon and Night to fight back. She gains a large scar on her eye similar to her dad and her relationship with him is worsened even more.

Moons after the Mushroom Marsh ordeal her brother MushroomMoor is found dead covered in maggots and mud. Discovered by Calliope, ElkPaw, BunnyBrook, and SwiftMask. The family grieves excluding Swift as he doesn’t see the deal if Mushroom wasn’t strong enough to fight back then why would he have lived any longer.

Night’s meetings with FlashMoon slow and she begins to grow worried once more, but when a gathering is annouced and she isn’t allowed to attend Nightingale hatches a plan. She sneaks out of camp and her sister FleurLily follows her begging Night to return to moonclan camp, NightingaleSong is dead set on going in hopes of seeing FlashMoon there. As the two argue SwiftMask appears and skeptical of them both. After being told to go comfort Orchiddream by Nightingale a sour remark noting that Orchid and Swift have been falling out recently she keeps on her path to the gathering. NightingaleSong also mentions how her father tried to murder FlashMoon, something no cat other than herself and Swift were aware of. Shocked FleurLily decides to follow her sister not wanting to be stuck with SwiftMask.

Abruptly four badgers attack the trio, chasing them to the gathering. NightingaleSong is trampled and left with indents along her spine. Fluer and Swift are unharmed for the meantime as fighting breaks out between cats and badgers. The SunClan medicine cat treats her wounds before Night looks around wildly for FlashMoon and her dad. She notices her father’s familiar brown pelt among the hissing and quarrels. Racing down to go find him in hopes of being comforted like a kitten once more her world is shattered as Swift is chased off of something by a badger. She soon realizes the body of FlashMoon and screams attracting the badger who promptly snaps it’s jaws around her throat and carries her off.

SwiftMask and FleurLily follow close behind the badger and is able to rescue her when TinyPaw makes an even louder noise. As the three reunite the same badger(Unable to get to TinyPaw) returns and murders SwiftMask brutally. He dies knowing he was a loving father but being a murderer at the same time. Both NightingaleSong and FleurLily are incapacitated and losing blood quickly.
