The somewhat timid secretary of a large shipping corporation called E.Y.E. (Ethereal Yonder Enterprises) that's actually a front for various kinds of criminal activity. While they're known to be meek and amicable when disguised, they're actually a rather hypercompetent, intimidating, and intensely serious crab. Albeit one often at a loss when it comes to socializing.
The truth is that their generally intimidating demeanor and rough exterior often make them unable to socialize very well, and he often finds himself too off putting and driving others away because of it. In an attempt to remedy this, they utilize the host's original personality to get along with people instead, though it makes him feel a bit inauthentic when doing so. As a result, he’s been trying to find ways to get more accustomed to socializing enough to be able to act more like his actual self. Since, despite currently being much more successful at befriending others, it never quite feels like he’s the one they are befriending.
When interacting with other Mignyans Migen will drop the act if it’s comfortable to, but they occasionally still swap back to the more appealing personality if he feels necessary. He doesn’t need to switch between undisguised and disguised when doing so, but since it was the original host’s personality that he’s simply emulating using their memories, he tends to be more often in disguised form when acting as them. (It’s like wearing a mask)
In a way, he simply just wants to make some friends.

History
Before a fateful meeting with a struggling alien crab, Migen's host body belonged to a young and kindhearted individual named Delta. They were a sweet tempered and hardworking individual who was very much well liked within the bustling accounting firm they worked in, well respected for both an efficient work ethic and impeccable organization skills. While they were a little mild mannered and tended to be pushed around a bit, they nevertheless remained and optimistic, kindly, and welcoming soul despite the terrible and oppressive treatment from their superiors. A sincerely pleasant presence amongst their colleagues.
Despite their upstanding reputation and amicable demeanor, Delta could never find it in them to like themself. They struggled deeply with their inability to stand up for themself and others, their generally meek disposition frustrating them to no end, as well as harrowing insecurities about their weaknesses and disposability on top of that. They grew more and more distant and troubled by the day. It was around then that Delta had their first fateful encounter with a particularly grotesque and meaty alien crab, one that comedically ended with it getting thrown into a cooler while Delta frantically excused themself from their superiors, but while the strange creature ended up slipping away, the meeting would not be their last.
That strange crab would come to be known as Migen, having carefully observed how effortlessly Delta could communicate and befriend the people around them, he was rather confused at why they seemed to be struggling so much. Despite having quite literally opposite issues, the two managed to connect with each other emotionally, and come to develop both an understanding and possibly some form of friendship. Even with Migen's clearly unnatural existence, and probably against their better judgement, Delta kept him a secret.
This relationship unfortunately ended the day a particularly bad confrontation with Delta's boss resulted in a physical struggle, one that only ended with Delta unscathed because Migen intervened. However, having done that, he would never be able to speak to Delta ever again. And while it was something they both had known was going to happen eventually, Migen regrets that it had to happen that way.
Post-Infection
The first thing Migen did after properly infecting their new host body was kill Delta's boss, whoops! It was a bit of a heat of the moment thing, as well as a partial accident due to not having proper control over his strength quite yet, but nonetheless it was something that was probably going to happen one way or another. While it was a bit hasty for the typically level headed Mignyan, it was a rather bitter occasion, having just lost the closest thing he had to a friend.
Though with the newly acquired memories of the host, Migen decided to keep his promise to them and find a way to accomplish his own goals.

Jovie
[ Friend/Colleague ] At a glance, the relationship between the two probably seems like a superior hazing their subordinate (and to be fair it did begin that way), but the two have come to genuinely respect and appreciate one another. Migen respects Jovie's diligence and confidence in her work, and while she has a tendency to make fun of him, he's grateful to have someone looking out for him and push him to social events. Even when he really really wants to avoid them sometimes.
Nyx
[ Colleague ] On the surface there doesn't seem like there would be much to say about the relationship between two socially distant individuals whose jobs are entirely separate, but as it turns out, Migen's habit of avoiding office gatherings means that the two actually have quite a number of interactions between them. Migen finds him rather strange, but nonetheless a trustworthy confidant. The two often share brief exchanges and the occasional lunch, with Migen often offering assistance when needed.
