Luen

Luen the Soundless, one third of the cursed trio. Born without hearing, Luen senses the world around her through sight, touch, and magic. She wanders the land peacefully, seeking to hone her craft, and learn the secrets of her own birth.

It is not a simple deafness that Luen is stricken with, and for that she is sought. A curse and blessing of immense power runs through her veins. The words of others morph into colour and light in the air before her, that she may shape and mold, harnessing or controlling a sound that she does not hear. Yet, she does not conceal herself. In her belief, those who lead a peaceful life have the world's protection—and to this day, no great harm has come to her.

Strengthening her power more is her partner and closest companion—and lover—Horia, a conduit who draws from the environment to channel its energy into Luen, as well as serving as her interpreter. Though they are not always together, when they are, the two are unstoppable.

With love and light, the world forms in their hands. A new age is at its dawn.
