Shoe Bill

A year ago, some friends and I were going to make a huge project involving a ton of wacky pirate designs. It never really took off, but I’m still super attached to the characters. 

Anyway, most of my OCs have super deep lore and intensive backstories, so I’m going to do something a little different and…not do that here. I’ll just give these guys very basic profiles, but still incorporate logic and personality into the designs.

This is Shoestring Billy. Nobody knows how old he is. He’s a cobbler and a sailor in a crew. His design was based on 1930s rubber hose cartoons. I might give him a cameo in my other stories sometime- just imagine Donald Duck or Popeye as a shoebill stork instead.

This doesn’t take place on Earth and has no specific time period, so there’s a bit of leeway for the uniforms. Free reign, people.
