While she looks  demure and submissive, Charlie is anything but. She's confident in  herself and her abilities, and has a playful demeanor unusual for war  demons. She enjoys killing, and treats it like a game. She revels in  poking at the weaknesses of her enemies. Bordering on cocky,  it's this aspect of Charlie's personality that got her that scar. She  learned not to overestimate her own abilities, nor the underestimate  those of her opponents. She learned this lesson the hard way, and is  reminded of it whenever she sees her reflection.

Charlie is not  prone to anger, and rather laughs off insults or slights rather than  lash out. Her temper is a honed blade, tightly controlled. She is  incredibly proud of this ability to keep her cool under pressure, and  her smile when dismissing such things is almost more unnerving than her  anger would be. Almost. Her temper, when unleashed, burns hot and  furious, coming and going so quickly you may not realize what happened,  largely because you'd be dead.

Charlie is  immensely proud of her heritage, and is incredibly eager to please her  aunt and live up to her expectations. The only fear she knows is  failure, and Charlie does everything in her power to avoid that. She  looks down on other species, seeing demons--especially war demons--as  superior. She knows better than to say this out loud, though, especially  to other royals. In spite of this, she's riddled with self doubt, and the mounting pressure of her status as heir has her second guessing herself and her actions. Her own worst enemy, Charlie wants nothing more than for her father to love her and say that he's proud of her.

She's surprisingly  friendly and good natured for a demon outside of battle. While not  always the best playmate, as she's fond of lording over others, she does  her best to be as fair as she can be. Charlie enjoys conversations with  others, though her quick wit and sharp tongue often mean she's more  blunt and honest than accommodating. She quick to make jabs and point  out the faults in others, generally with the intent of helping them  better themselves, but also to remind them that she's ultimately  superior to them.
