Klaus

A charming tailor who is always striving to be relevant in the "fashion industry"...

...But the unfortunate part is that many citizens of his kingdom simply don't wear clothing, so he doesn't attract many customers. The poor are expected to cover their bodies, but they can't afford the costs of his materials, so he simply skates by in poverty and wears his elaborate outfits all on his own.

His shop runs out of his grandfather's house, the only person in the world that he feels understands him. Klaus is naturally curious and somewhat clueless towards social norms, and he goes against the grain of what's considered acceptable without really trying to. It doesn't bother him, but it leaves him wondering what things would be like if he lived somewhere that valued his skills.

Klaus can be very naive. He hasn't had much exposure to the world outside of his town, and since most people think his hobbies are eccentric at best, he hasn't had the privilege of being close with many people besides his grandfather. Both of his parents passed away in the war when he was much younger.

He has a third eye across the bridge of his nose, a trait of his species. It is normally covered with an eyepatch or strip of cloth, per kingdom regulations. He wears long gloves with amber claws on the end, an outstanding bit of ornamentation that only high society Aralyn might wear. His grandfather bought them for him as a gift.
