Euclase is a rare silicate lifeform that has found itself stranded on planet Earth, in Eastern California. It is powered not by caloric intake like organics, but by heat and light absorbtion, and it is very lucky to be stranded where it is in Death Valley.

It spends most of its days scouring the desert for any traces of scrap from its landing ship, but is usually fruitless. Due to its light colors and reflective nature, Euclase can be very difficult to discern among the pale mud flats of its temporary home. Most often sighted at midday in the Racetrack Playa region, individual sightings of it are described as hallucinatory and relating to heat mirages.

It is neither a docile nor aggressive being, and it appears to move about with a volition fueled largely by ambivalence and preoccupation. While small in stature, Euclase is incredibly dense and creates notable indentations in the ground where it leaves footprints. It can easily crush vehicles and other structures with its weight alone, and forceful kicks and punches prove to be even more destructive.

Euclase is without a doubt a highly intelligent individual, and is shown to move with typically methodical and deliberate action. It prefers to stay on solid ground; it cannot swim, nor can it gain traction in softer sediments. In responce to the setting sun, Euclase will effectively "shut down", ceasing all movement until the sun rises again the following day. It will also shut down as a stress response, dropping its full weight to the gound and rendering itself largely immovable.

Euclase has been on Earth for many decades, most likely having landed some time in the early 20th century.

Euclase can be musically themed by plucking, analog electronic ambience.
