Profile

Mirabella Honeydew, born Orchard, was a young halfling from a family of fruit tree farmers for generations. She worked in her family's orchards during her youth. The work is often interspersed with trips to the neighboring town to sell goods and negotiate with the guild of cooks and bakers. These trips were clearly her favorite time of the month, she could finally leave her tiny country village to go to the big city. It was during one of her travels that she met the son of the region's beekeepers, Gordon Honeydew.

Like her, he came from a small village to sell their honey to the guild. With each trip they got to know each other better and became very close. The friendship gave way to a budding love. However, their happy days were interrupted when Gordon fell seriously ill. Their community was so small that there was no doctor around and traveling to the big city was terribly risky. Mirabella tried her best to help her but his fever didn't drop. It was a miracle that a troop of adventurers passed through their village and Mira begged the cleric of their group to come to their aid. The priestess agreed and freed Gordon from his illness. Mirabella did not know how to thank her and the priestess advised her to turn to Yondalla, Halfling goddess of protection, and to offer in her turn the care as she had received it.

So this is how Mirabella set about the hard task of devoting herself to learning religion and becoming a cleric of Yondalla. Through her hard work and determination she became the main healer of her village, forming a small group of practitioners and erecting an altar in honor of her goddess. So no one would ever have to suffer the same way again. But soon she felt she needed to leave her native countryside, to share her gift in the same way that priestess had reached out to her. Gordon didn't intend to let her go like this and joined her, taking the Ranger's path. Both went on adventures, helping people in need and spreading the good word of Yondalla.

It was during one of their many wanderings that they came across a strange carnival. Gordon, cheered up by one of their recent wins, tricked Mirabella into sneaking into the carnival, "just to have a look". However the managers of the carnival took this kind of crime very seriously and they were excluded from the party. However, something was wrong.. the entire 8 hours spent there were completely erased from their memory, impossible to remember anything. Confused and scared, they decided to go home as soon as possible.

Years later, they decided to abandon their life of adventure and devote their retirement to working in the big city near their native countryside. Now members of the Cooks and Bakers Guild, they take advantage of their time to cook delicious pastries with their favorite ingredients. Well, until the mysterious carnival resurfaced...

Family Trivia :

Her life of adventure will unfortunately have deprived Mirabella of her fertility, an unfortunate accident injured her beyond repair and her belly was too damaged to be able to hope to give birth one day. But that's not what stopped Mirabella and she decided to adopt two tiefling twins that no one wanted at the orphanage because of their evil ancestry. Mirabelle didn't care, a child is a child and they will be Honeydews like her! This is how Miyel and Rowan arrived in the small family of Mira and Gordon. Miyel married Alwin, a wood elf and together took over the family fruit business. They had two children, Poppy and Salvia, who make their grandmother happy. They affectionately call their grandparents Granny Mirabel and Grandpa Bumblebee. On the other side Rowan married Odzed, a half orc. Inspired by his father's honey production, they decided together to create a mead brewery using honey produced by his father's family.
