Hydrae's main feature, something incredibly noticeable about her, is that she has an unfathomable calmness about her. No matter the pressure she seems almost lost in a dream herself, immune to worry, fear, anxiety. She is always calm, a gentle kindness and smile about her. She is not entirely unphased, things may obviously bother or concern her, but she has adapted to not show such weakness. Not because she is afraid of her own weakness, but because calmness begets calm, and she believes by facing ones problems in a collected manner, they too will slip easily away on the breeze.

While her father encourages her to follow the dreams in her head, Ryze tries to instill some form of realism and caution into her daughter, causing them to occasionally butt heads as Hydrae defends her calmness to her mother's more abrasive nature.
