-how zip came to be

After being caught in a house fire Pia was pronounced dead at the scene due to severe burns and smoke inhalation. Max was left in a critical condition with 60% burns to his body, they were able to save him using unburnt pelt/skin from Pia. The pelt was made up of her fur and his remaining, they used zippers to hold it together in hope that Max’s fur would completely grow back. Changing his name to zip he lives in constant grief over her death.
