Chai

Chai is an assured taskmaster among the army, high in rank though humble beyond it.
He's loud most times, but not harsh and rude-- it's fairly obvious he is used to being mocked for his short stature and takes offense to his larger than life strategies being related to his height. He tries not to overcompensate but most of his actions are often misconstrued by those that do not like him.

He works most often within battle ranks; he's very intellectual and prefers 'fighting' behind the scenes instead, studying and contributing with his comrades rather than being a lone strategist.

Outside of his work (that he truly enjoys), he is very sweet and considerate... He was raised strictly and to be polite at all times, and he took to it well, enjoying having manners that most others in the army seem to severely lack...
He doesn't mind affectionate jabs towards his short height, but he does not tolerate rude remarks, very used to it, and quick to tune it out.

TRIVIA AND NOTES:
-For his species of rabbit, his height is quite normal, but after being conscripted by the army, he's come to learn this is not the norm by any means.
-Among his people, he was often nicknamed 'Sprout' or 'Sproutling', which he did not mind hearing, but hearing it said by non-rabbit people leaves a sour taste in his mouth.
-He does not take off his hat because he's embarrassed to have hat-hair LOL
