History:

As a young child, Jorani was neglected by her parents as they were busy tending to their own lives, not wanting to take responsibility raising her with love and affection. The only affection she had was from her pet feline, which her parents gave to her one rainy night, probably their only gift to her, as they found it stranded on the street. But for the most part it was because she kept bothering them to play with her.. She treasured her little black kitten only to find she could communicate with it, becoming friends with the little domestic cat. All the other children in school thought she was rather crazy as she told them she could talk to her cat and well they didn’t believe her, and couldn’t make human friends as a child only feline ones.  But well her first friend she had soon died after running out into the street one night getting hit by a drunk driver.

She was all alone. Her parents not interested in taking responsibility for being parents; she began to hate them for never being there. But seeing she couldn’t even make human friends and only befriended felines becoming rather outcasted for being an odd person. She decided to change when she got into her late teens and began to ignore her so called connection with cats. Pretending she was rather normal like everyone else to fit in, craving the attention of others that she forced her way into the popular crowd by hooking up with the right guy, using her changed looks and her body to seduce him.  But well this crowd wasn’t the one she should’ve mingled with, as they partied like crazy, drinking until their body dropped on the dance floor -- well Jorani didn’t care much she was having a blast wasting her life away.

Jorani met a circus recruiter who noticed her supernatural abilities and asked her to join the circus. The girl declined the offer wanting to stay and pretend to be a normal human girl.

However an incident with her hunter ex-boyfriend changed her mind. As for one of his date ideas, he wanted to go hunting. However he ended up shooting a mother panther and Jorani in fear of the large predator, leaving them in the jungle. Jorani was sheltered by the mother panther until she died but left with the panther's little cub child. However the girl couldn't leave the jungle as her leg was injured nor did she want to leave the little panther all alone. It wasn't until the recruiter found her and offered to save her butt.

So she decided to join the Circus utilizing her abilities in taming felines and becoming someone who wouldn’t be abandoned and casted aside, and well taking care of Mau as part of repaying her debt to the mother panther who helped her.
