About
Iseult is the Glass Witch, Mirror Maiden, and child of a great and (potentially) terrible prophecy. In an effort to stave off the effects of her fate, she has secluded herself in a quiet wood, though will be available to those who have true need of her.
Reflective surfaces are conduits for her power (including her eyes), and having a connection to them grants her greater control in her task. She can also communicate with others through glass and find those who are lost, if they happen to be close to a source of her power.
Character
While Iseult believes she is bound to be alone until someone needs her, she has an optimistic view of the outside world, and is quick to think the best of others, even while she disparages herself.
⬥ Because she fears that her true self is always reflected to others, she has made a habit out of not lying.
⬥ "Mirror, mirror, on the wall...."
⬥ Perhaps a little too hopeful for love and friendship, she can be blind to the faults of others when she wants them to like her.
⬥ She has long lived on her own and in her attempts to create relationships with others, she makes goofy jokes and repeats things she finds humorous until she finds someone who also enjoys it.
⬥ Her parents were actually witch hunters, and used their own abilities to track and wipe out dark magics.
⬥ "...even you, one day, will fall.”
⬥ Occasionally called the "lady through the looking glass".
⬥ She does her best to find pleasure in the little things, but would be happiest around those she knows she cannot harm.

Story
Past
Born to two loving parents, Iseult experienced the best the world had to offer from an early age. No stranger to magic, they considered her eyes and uncanny ability to identify future events as a gift and raised her to believe that she should be prideful, but careful of her gifts. Upon their death, Iseult discovered the prophecy that they had hidden from her. It was decreed that she would one day do something of 'great and terrible importance', but being vague in the way of all mystical declarations, could be for better or for worse.
Left alone in her family home, past the age of her maturity and able to fend for herself, Iseult decided to continue a solitary existence. If she was alone she would impact nothing and perhaps the prophecy would pass by without fruit. Her talents are occasionally called upon by people who knew her from before, but she is mostly left alone. Being alone eases the danger of her power to others, but not to herself.
