Lottie is the ghost of a rising Hollywood starlet who died during the Noir film era of Hollywood. She is social, dramatic, optimistic and has a tendency to 'play the role that she wants to be seen as' from situation to situation. While she has always been dramatic the fact that she is a ghost (beings that basically very emotional energy left by certain people, that can become corporeal with enough power) means that her moods tend to be at the end of the scale. This can occasionally have destructive results and give her a more ghostly appearance.

 She became close friends with Jay as she is practically powerless without him. The two also bonded over their passion for creating music although Jay claims that he finds her annoying. She hopes that if she can help make Jay's band famous she can vicariously live in the fame she very nearly had.

When around Jay she can manifest illusions and move objects around. She has a love of outfit changes (but prefers to stay in the fashions of her lifetime)

BACKSTORY

Lottie became an actress at a young age and moved to Hollywood when she was 17. She was instantly swept away in the glamour of the place and started treating her own life as something out of one of her films. It wasn't long before she fell in love with a handsome man named Hartley Ward and when she was 19 she got engaged to him. Unfortunately, Hartley was a member of the mob and was just using her to get to her money. While on holiday with him she discovered this and he responded by shooting and killing her. She attached her spirit to a necklace gifted to her by Hartly that she had been wearing at the time and was able to use this as an anchor to the mortal realm. The necklace was passed around for a long time and she existed in a limbo state, not powerful enough to manifest until it eventually became the possession of a woman in New Zealand,  (Jay's mother) and because of Jay's power she was able to fully awaken.

-Lottie has a lot of gaps in her memories. She remembers almost nothing about her family or childhood and can't even remember her real name
