A man of few words, Isaac subscribes to the principle of "might makes right". He is always down to fight an opponent that is willing. With overwhelming might he will crush anyone that dares stand before him - man, woman, or child. Take up a weapon against him and you cease being a civilian and become a combatant.

Fighting is how he talks. Spending time on meaningful dialogue is a waste of time - even as an immortal he believes this.

Despite his seemingly brutish nature, he does have an honor code of his own. As mentioned above, anyone who takes up arms against him is fair game. Though if he is called out as having an advantage over a weaker opponent, he will purposefully fight with self-imposed handicaps in order to make it fairer. Though challenging him to a fist fight is a fool's errand.

He doesn't have noble ambitions like his fellow Noble Swords - he got his revenge when he was alive and only sticks around for his comrade's sake. He shares brotherly bonds with those comrades who lived and died with him. For that he will go along with any idea Armando or Artemis come up with - and they know Isaac well enough to regulate him to combat situations.

When not fighting, he collects and admires gem-stones. Something about the way they're formed fascinates him. Perhaps the trials and tribulations in their formation speaks to him on a certain level? Or perhaps he just likes shiny objects? Either way the man himself doesn't speak much of it.

Life

Isaac was born in 609AR during the period of the Natural decline. During this time, it can be said that the empires which Naturals ruled over were in the downturn, breaking apart due to war and simple genetics. As any dying superpower would do, they clamped down on Resonators and Maestros. It was especially difficult on the Resonators; any Natural would take out their frustrations on Resonators, with many being killed or enslaved.

Isaac was born into nobility, but always found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. As such he took to street fighting. He got the idea early on that might breeds power and as such he would seek to crush anyone in his path. He didn't need magic and took on most opponents with his fists alone.

One day he crossed paths with a Natural nobleman who didn't pay him the respect he thought he deserved. This didn't end well, for the Natural. Beaten nearly to death, the noble's family sought vengeance against Isaac. It never ended well for his attackers no matter how many people they sent.

Eventually they would get revenge indirectly, by attacking his family. He would be forced to watch as one by one his family members were picked off. Once they were all gone, his close friends were targeted, and then just people that associated with him.

A silent rage built in the tiger-man until finally Armando showed up and offered him a way to get back at his attackers.

He would be the first to say he didn't really care about being a general. He was after the dismantling of the systems that enabled the Natural nobility to get away with the crimes they committed against his friends and family. He was strict with his soldiers, any weakness he would break them of with harsh training. But for all of the yelling and punishments there was a heart which was trying to avoid having the same fate befall his soldiers that his family succumbed to.

How he died

The most popular variation of Isaac's death involves him being outnumbered 200 to one and taking down nearly all of them before he succumbed to his injuries. Popular tellings have him propped up against a rock and taking out enemy soldiers that approached him with only his bare hands. It is said that the few remaining soldiers watched him for days, in fear that they may be struck down if they approached him.

Life after Ascension

Scholars to this day still argue about when exactly he ascended. There is a certain tale told that the three risen Noble Swords exacted bloody vengeance on the Natural nobility that killed them and their soldiers.

He appears seldomly in the public records from 700AR on, usually aiding in rebellions which seek to help Resonator-kind. Like his comrades he very rarely takes up his sword, though there are accounts of him testing those who seek raw, unmatched strength field of resonator combat.

Isaac's personal sword, this blade represents the Crushing attribute in its fullest. The blade itself is made out of refined Vatonium ore, giving it a "life" of its own. This allows the holder to not only block enemy spellcasting, but to allow Isaac himself to channel spells through the weapon, allowing his spells to crush his adversaries.

This relic also doubles as a Proto-Tuner, which Isaac presents to a maestro who embodies the rebellious spirit of Crushing. This fealty can be rejected by Isaac himself, at which point the relic returns to him.
