Alex | Main character of Project bUDDI | she/her

Alex is a good natured, cool-headed person. She got into Project bUDDI because of the aesthetics, but she's developed a broad understanding of the game after many hyperfixation-driven deep dives on the meta and lore. Unfortunately, she's not much of a competitor at tournaments, as she seems to lose her train of thought when put on the spot. Despite her less than noteworthy win record, she's a welcome member of the bUDDI community. You'll often find her playing obscure metagames at weeklies. 

Alex may seem stoic, but her art reveals her emotional (and frankly weird) side. If you get to know her, you'll discover her offbeat sense of humor and maybe get a glimpse at her many, many sketchbooks full of furry art. But only if you ask nicely.

Arthur is Alex's bUDDI, taking the form of an alligator (to keep the alliteration train going). He's much hammier and emotive than Alex, but still very grounded, as reflective of his Earth element. The two rarely disagree.
