Remina is cursed – suffering endlessly, dying over and over again, yet forced to return every time. Anything terrible that can happen WILL happen to her and her presence alone will attract murderers, natural disasters and plain misfortune.

No matter what, Remina's body will reform after a few hours, days or weeks and she will wake up in her bed/stable as if nothing happened, but the memory will remain. All deaths are canon, but she rarely talks about it and nobody else who witnesses it seems to aknowledge it either. She is simply cursed to 'endure' death over and over again, like prometheus.
