Elizabeth (Lizard) Baker

A woman cursed to be a naga, saddled with fire magic, and chained by the Demon God Eonis. 

5'4 as a human, 7'6 from head to tip of tail.

Born as the eldest(and only surviving) daughter to a family of poor sheep farmers, Liz spent the majority of her upbringing helping her parents. This lifestyle of hard work and unbalanced diet left her a strong, but uneducated, adult. When war eventually came to her country, and her father was required to either submit himself to the life of a soldier, or submit his eldest child for the same fate.

 As he was old and worn down from a life on the farm, and Liz was only 15, Liz took his place, and rose rapidly in the ranks. She was well-suited to this life, and quickly gained the nickname of "The Adder" among her troop, for her swift and deadly strikes with the sword. 

Even after the war petered out, and she was 18, she could no longer go back to life as a farmer. She married a wealthy baker, taking his surname. But, unfortunately, the war picked up once more, so back to the battlefield The Adder went. 

This time, she was against someone equally as powerful as herself. They fought for a long time, but her opponent was the winner, dealing her a deadly blow across her stomach. 

She died there, at age 19. Her spirit watched the battlefield, and felt a severe pang of loss. She could never go back to her husband. They could never have kids. 

She wept.

Then, Eonis appeared. He offered her a second chance. She'd have another 25 years of life, but she would have to obey his commands after those years are up. 

She agreed, without hesitation, and offered him her hand. They shook on it, and she was dragged back into her body, and back to life. 

She lived those 25 years to the fullest she could, spending them with her husband, and and the 6 children they had together. 

When Eonis came to retrieve her, he snatched her up before she could say goodbye. He ferried her to his pocket universe, and declared that it was her new home, and she was not allowed to leave except when he took her with him someplace.

When she asked what he intended her to do, Eonis told Liz she'd be his maid, keeping the small universe(around 2,000 sqft) tidy.

When she, inevitably, tried to leave, he punished her by changing her shape, twisting her into the naga she is now. 

When she tried to leave a second time, he punished her by creating a volcano in the pocket universe, and throwing her inside. The only good thing about this, was that he gave her access to her magic, the ability to control fire, because he "didnt want to be bothered with having to revive her all the time."

As you would expect, these(and similar) punishments have been intensely traumatic, leaving the once talkative and extroverted woman withdrawn and surly, obeying commands silently and without delay. 

She secretly plans to overthrow him one day, with the others he has trapped in similar situations on her side.
