Decennien's Links
Decennien had no choice in being born to an immortal legend, but it means he has a sacred duty older than he can even comprehend. He did have a choice to walk away, but Ephemera raised him. Ephemera. How could he walk away from his mother and abandon her to a lonely life on the Zenith? No, she entrusted him with the stories from before... he will take up the mantle of guardian.
Decennien has taken up her sacred duty. She never expected she'd have a child who would join her, or even understand her. She's not sure how much she should trust Decennien in regard to the secrets of their duty, but she will share with him the many stories of her life before her oath... the era where aurus freely roamed the world. The time before the Void dimension.
Stratus is his father, and as such Decennien respects him, but they aren't particularly close. He keeps his fair share of secrets from Decennien, and while he doesn't confront him about it, it makes him wonder what there could possibly be that Stratus doesn't want him to find out about.
Stratus admittedly isn't as close with Dece, but that doesn't mean he loves him less. His son is so much like Ephe, and while there are plenty of things to admire about that, Stratus worries Dece is losing his opportunity to grow up.
Decennien has only seen her from a distance. He wants to get a better look at her... she seems familiar.
Cirrus doesn't know Dece exists... yet.
Coprin is... not what he expected of a god reincarnated. He's never met an aurusalkar in person, before. He expected something grand, not a sniffling recluse. Either way, he will do everything in his power to guide him to this strange island that hopefully has the answers he seeks. Even if he must endure days of his less-than-sterling company. His mother is counting on him to do this, and he will not let her down.
She's not a threat, she's just... kind of rude.
Ice-horns over here is always talking like he's some mystical old creature. She's seen him fall face-first into a snowdrift. There's really no mysticism left, to be honest.
