Hope Grym

The infamous "organization" known as Future Perfection had a "minor" run in with the law, resulting in the rescue of hundreds of brainwashed adults and children.  Almost all of the children went to orphanages, and had to undergo much needed therapy.  One girl, however, never needed much saving from the brainwashing part of it all.

Hope Grym is a quiet college student with a passion for stars.  With her dream being a successful astronomer one day, Hope spends most of her days studying for school and keeping her grades up, which has benefited her greatly.  On nights she has little studying to do, she drives a big, observatory style van she got for her birthday years ago to the ledge near the pond nearby, and watches the stars, sometimes with Evets.

Hope, although a quiet girl, is stubborn and doesn't back down without a fight most of the time.  She refuses to be pushed around and stepped on, especially by people bigger than her.  She has been diagnosed with depression and PTSD, but she has been coping with it better than she has in the past.  Evets has been a very important friend in her mental health struggles.

On quiet days, Hope will visit her close friend Forrest, whose grave is in the graveyard next door.  She still owns the large missile-like weapon Forrest created, and she keeps it stashed under her bed.  She loves to snowboard!  She and her adoptive father, Nigel, like to take winter trips to the mountains to snowboard and ski.  She's extremely scared of the dark, and sleeps with a nightlight still.
Hope always wears a band-aid over the bridge of her nose, to hide the brand she got during her time at Future Perfection.  If she's not wearing a band-aid, she's wearing makeup to cover it up.
Hope has an older sister, but she's sure she's gone just like her parents...
