Ryme is a shy, kind Lepitsune that loves to grant tender wishes. His favourites are always the virtuous and cheerful ones often requested by bright-eyed children. Nothing makes him happier than to see a child's joy from a wish he's granted--other than seeing his favourite time of year of course, when winter turns into spring! Ryme loves to flit about during the seasonal shift, welcoming all the creatures that become active again, admiring the little rainbows created when the frost melts as sunlight hits them. His own patterning came about from a surge of wish-granting during this time when he first arrived, and so he wears his colours with pride.
The crisp morning air is so fresh!

Backstory
Back when he was just a newly-born Lepi and left his home tree to travel beyond, Ryme used to be very brave and trusting, and wasn't as skittish as he is today. But he was too naive, and was tricked into granting some terribly selfish and cruel wishes. Seeing his body adopt its long choleric tail terrified him, as he heard stories of Lepis falling to corruption as a result of granting too many unkind wishes, and his tail is a constant reminder of his mistake. Since then, he has become more withdrawn, timid, and uncertain of himself, but does his best to only grant wishes of people with kind souls from now on. He believes that there is more good in the world than bad, and makes it his duty to personally bring even more goodwill into the world where he can.
Fun Facts
✦He is very careful with granting wishes now, and often prefers to grant those of children as they tend to be the most pure kinds of wishes. If thinking to grant wishes for other types of people, he takes his time to study them and learn more about them and what truly drives their desires. Due to his pickiness and how wary he's become, he has been granting a fair bit fewer wishes than he would like...but he is glad to take a little extra time to ensure they are altruistic in nature.
✦The seasonal shift between winter and spring is when he was born, first left his world tree to come to this world, and it was when he granted his first wishes and gained his colours from, so it holds a special place in his heart and soul.
✦Although Ryme has difficulty trusting humans, he does not have this issue with other Lepitsune he meets--unless they have many choleric traits, which can scare him.
✦Ryme's favourite pasttime (other than granting wishes) is to sit in trees and people/creature-watch while enjoying a crisp breeze.
✦Ryme also enjoys singing alongside the birds in spring (his chirping sounds reminiscent to birdsong, for any non-Lepis that listen).
✦He strongly dislikes hot, dry weather as he is very weakened by it and becomes lethargic. In summertime, he often remains indoors or only goes out at night, and grants many silly wishes from fellow heat-haters. Many children wish for ice cream during this time and it's one of his favourite wishes to grant!
Extra Fun Facts
✦He tried Mountain Dew once because of its beautiful name, and promptly regretted it. It's a sore spot for him now...
