Profile

From rags to riches, he grew up on the streets and now owns one of the largest and most successful businesses.
And all he had to do was sell both his brother and his soul.

Helplessness.
It was a frustrating feeling, something that had clung to Jet for years. He was helpless when his parents argued and divorced; he was helpless when he and his brother were abandoned; he was helpless when his brother did everything he could to keep them safe and healthy.
But when he met that imp?
He was in control.
Tired of sitting around as useless, Jet wandered the streets of the city, finding his own ways to make money. After countless failed attempts, he found himself standing in front of a table, and at the other end was a hooded figure. The figure promised him great fortunes if he won a simple game, and as a young, naive boy, he eagerly agreed.
He won. He made money. Lots of it. It blinded him, and before he knew, he was losing more than he began with.
He'd win it all back, he kept assuring himself as he continued playing.
He didn't.
The hooded figure revealed itself to be an imp, saying that Jet needed to pay his price. With nothing left, the imp offered him a choice: pay with his soul... or sell his brother. Jet was at a loss for words. How did it know about Alcott? Why did it want him? What would it do with Jet if he agreed to sign his soul away? The fear of losing his soul was too great, and with a guilty hand, Jet signed the contract. His brother was gone, and in his place was a thin check of money that he knew wasn't worth it.

One day, many years later, a mysterious man approached Jet. He claimed that his soul was drenched with greed, and offered him a chance to house the soul of one of the Seven Sins. In return, he would be granted his desire: all the money he could ask for.
Needless to say, Jet agreed.

With Greed's guidance, Jet scammed and stole enough from people to start a small gambling business. It grew larger and larger, and now he's the owner of a famous chain of casinos.

Notes: Jet and Alcott were a mess when I first made them. I had no idea how they both reacted, how they were like, and posting them didn't seem to solve the issue. They were both originally meant to be Sins, with Jet as Greed and Alcott as Pride. But you've seen Alcott, that doesn't really match. At the same time, I had personal problems that lead to me shelving them. But after literal years, I missed them, and brought them back. Greed was a tricky guy to think of. Wouldn't he just be obsessed with collecting something? It just didn't feel right, then I got to thinking. Someone who's greedy wouldn't necessarily be a cheapskate. They just wouldn't help. Then the gears started turning.

Facts:

Full Name: Jet Marshall Northwind

Nicknames: N/A

Age: Permanently 31

Sexuality: Bisexual

Hair/Eye Color: Black/Blue

Height: 5'8"

Weight: 174 Ibs

Occupation: Casino Owner

Personality: Jet comes off as charismatic and uses his silver tongue to sweet talk you. Of course, that's just the surface. Jet is actually arrogant and selfish. He knows he's better than everyone and tends to remind them of this everyday. He also has no problem in the slightest eating in front of a starving person and telling them to get a job. He's a douche of a boss, getting people to do impossible things for too little pay, and wouldn't hesitate to fire them over something absurd.
He's a proud man and doesn't like admitting his faults, and has no idea how to convey his emotions. If something doesn't his way, he'll end up being moody for days.

Non-Human Abilities:

- Immortality - Self-explanatory, he will not age, but he can be hurt and killed.
- Mist - When he calls upon Greed's powers, a blue smoke-like aura will surround Jet. Sometimes it can spread out like smokescreen, and sometimes it can swallow him up and shoot him around as a form of travel. It can even solidify into a monkey. This monkey will help Jet steal or cheat, and can make itself invisible for five to ten minutes.
- Money - There are times when the mist instead solidifies itself into an enormous, floating mass of coins and dollars. Under his instruction, the mist will shoot out coin by coin at a speed so fast that one coin can pierce concrete, or paper bills that slice like shurikens. When done, the money will melt back into the mist-like state (otherwise Jet would abuse the power to make money).
- Casino - A special, world bending ability of Jet's that's more often used for when he's making deals with people. This ability locks people up with Jet in an enormous casino-like structure. In it, there will be a game, this ranges from Monopoly to Blackjack to even a game show - anything can happen in here. The players may only participate if they wager/wish something (people are allowed to not participate, but cannot leave until the game is finished). Once the game is over, whoever wins will get their wish granted.
- Gamble - A trick only available inside Casino, and one Jet uses when he realizes he's losing. A large dice block will appear, and several choices will appear. Whichever the dice block lands on will alter the game. It's very possible for either Jet or the opponent to instant win/lose. This move may only be used once per Casino summon.
Full Form - A form used when Jet calls upon all of Greed's powers. He gains a completely new look and is much faster and physically stronger. He has a new ability among his others in this form - Golden Touch - which allows him to turn anything he touches with his hands into gold. It does not happen instantly. Once he touches something, that spot will turn gold and slowly spread until he chooses to stop, or if whatever was touched it fully gold. He can reverse this, or it can be broken once he's out of his Full Form.

Voice: Piercing and condescending - like if a hyena could talk - Robin Atkin Downes

Drawing Details: Always wears a suit. The Greed brand is over his left hand, and is usually in a font similar to Bradley Hand or Papyrus.

Fun/Extra Facts:

- Boston born, and in accent.

- When someone becomes a Sin, they must give up part of themselves as a sacrifice. Nikolai's was his hair and eye color. For Jet, he gave up his wings.

- Bought back his brother's contract once he could. That doesn't mean he's necessarily freed him, though.

- Got punched in the face the first time he saw his brother again.

- Feels bad about selling Alcott, but doesn't know how to make it up to him so he instead keeps his distance and grumps around.

- The worst customer; argues to use expired coupons, threatens to sue, etc.

- His most popular casino is called Jetties, and it's paired with a five star hotel on the beach.

- Also has large shares of several other companies. Has his greedy hands on just about everything.

- Has several charity drives, but each "charity" is actually connected to a bank account of his.

- Hates pickles.

- Has bribed/corrupt cops and lawyers working for him.

- Canonically meant to marry his secretary (a character I haven't made and don't plan on making so you could probably make her if you run it with me). He has a daughter with her and despite being Greed, he can't help but spoil his princess.
