♦Rook is above all else kind. He will go out of his way to show others kindness because he knows first-hand what it’s like to live in a world devoid of it. He grew up poor, struggling for food, with a family that was abusive and would eventually fall apart; and so he spent many nights crying himself to sleep whilst looking up at the night sky wishing he was somewhere, anywhere else.

♦As a child he was often picked on for his small stature, and his need for glasses, he didn’t however let this bother him as he had a best friend, a girl called Jack who would inform him that bullies were jealous of him because he was different, and he should embrace that. To this day she is still his best friend.

♦Once attended a cooking class on a dare and liked it so much he signed up for a 3 month course; and then spent the following 3 years teaching his own class for half the price with cheaper ingredients to kids who reminded him of himself.
