Gideon

a young up and coming actor, gideon's endlessly confident. he's been in some pretty popular movies and he's getting pretty famous. he's always wanted to be in movies and he worked hard to get where he is now. he was in a lot of theater/drama stuff in school and auditioned for roles all the time. finally he started scoring some pretty good ones and he's been on his way up ever since.

he's very flirtatious and mischievous. he's not an excessive bragger, but he's not humble. he loves turning heads and impressing people; he has a bit of an egotistical and self-centered streak. but he's a nice guy overall, very well-mannered and gentlemanly. gideon cares deeply about people he likes. he treats everyone well, but as long as he doesn't dislike a person, he'd really do just about anything to make sure they're comfortable. he's very considerate. he's polite to everyone even if he dislikes them, but he does have a tendency to gossip about people he doesn't like once they're out of earshot.

he loves gossip and loves telling stories. he loves making conversation with anyone and definitely goes out of his way to talk to a well-known actor or director in the hopes that it'll help him get on their good side and score a role. but even besides that, gideon just loves to talk and to listen to others talk. he has a lot of stories to tell and is at least knowledgeable enough on a lot of subjects to carry a conversation. he hates seeming domineering though, he always makes sure other people can get a word in even if they're mostly listening. he works hard to keep conversations lighthearted, he hates tension and has a compulsion to relieve it anytime he possibly can. he's very good at reading people and will act differently if he thinks it would make them more comfortable (ex. nicer and calmer for a very shy person).

gideon's a cheerful and optimistic boy, but that's kind of because he forces himself to be. he's always doing things because he hates being alone. he has a lot of friends, but none are really that close. he's had a lot of flings and has "dated" a lot of people, but not many deep relationships. his mom was in the military, so the whole family moved all the time when he was a child. he'd always have to leave the friends he made and find new ones. he just kind of accepted it and never got too close to people, because he was afraid he'd have to leave them later on. and nowadays he doesn't really know how to get close to people. but he can't bear to let himself feel sad, so he distracts himself by doing things. he feels like he always has to be happy and positive, and never tells anyone if he's feeling bad.
