Basics

Years ago I chose that I wanted a fursona after many of my friends had mascots and I had begun to learn about sonas. At the time though I loved dragons, I did not feel worthy of having one for a sona and so I thought hard about what animals felt right and about mythology. I found I had a fairly strong connection with foxes, and I grew up with lots and lots of cats. I enjoyed kitsunes and had recently learned about nekomatas so it felt logical to mix the two together. I went to my friend RaccoonSaloon and asked if she could draw me a lineart of a basic fox with two snow leopard tails. She did this for me and I proceeded to very badly color it and make the very basic beginnings of Luna's markings. Once done Rac was kind enough to draw her first official piece of art using the butchered color in I had done as a reference piece. In that work her eye color was determined and markings were refined.

Back in 2016, I had gone though quite a bit by then and I felt like I had grown and it finally felt right to let Luna be a dragon. So I went to my friend Sadbloom, who I had commissioned several pieces of Luna from prier to her species change, to shift her to a dragon. If I remember right I had asked her to take her Kitsuneko form and turn it into a dragon, simple as that. Sadbloom did the most amazing job and I couldn't be happier with how she came out. She retained a bit of her fox in her face, grew horns and whiskers and her old markings and hair transferred over perfectly. Sadbloom even added the color gold to her which just stands out so nicely and helped break up her original colors and its just perfect.

Abilities

As a Kitsuneko she is able to conjure blue foxfire that could take the firery shape of anything imaginable but could not produce heat and therefor could cause no harm. She is also able to shift her tails into a single canine tale.

As a Dragon she gained the ability to breath a gold and purple fire as well as making both the blue foxfire and now a gold and purple foxfire, also known as dragon lanterns, which can take any shape. Her breath fire can ether be heat producing fire that can burn things, or like her foxfire/dragon lantern fire and cause no damage. As a dragon she can change her size and fly.

In any form she is able to summon standard luna moths, or foxfire/dragon lantern luna moths.

Personality

Luna is my fursona, and so how does one describe their own personality? She is your average person, she excels, she fails, she soars and she hurts. She has seen the dark side and yet she can be so innocent and naive. She tries to be a good person, she isn't the best at it but she tries and she cares for those around her. She fears failure and just wants to be happy in life and see those around her happy too.
