Falconstar

Falconkit was born to Ashfoam and Midnightsea as an only kit. He was taught to look over his shoulder, always expecting danger as his parents were very paranoid, manipulative and controlling individuals who coddle their kit. From a very young age he was constantly promised he was always destined for something greater- to be a leader and that it was the will of the stars. Little did Falconkit know, it was a false prophet from his parents who wanted their son to be special.

Thanks to his parents, Falconpaw was afraid of letting others see his weakness and failure while also mimicking their behavior as well. Eventually Ashfoam and Midnightsea were killed during a flood that their previous leader, Clamstar, failed to evacuate others from. Their loss upset Falconpaw immensely and he started to take this as a sign from the stars that Clamstar was incapable of leading. During this time aswell, one of his closest friendsEclipsepaw had gone missing and never found again. The loss of his friend and parents tipped Falconpaw off the edge.

As Falconpaw earned his warrior name and grew into Falconstike, their deputy died of illness causing Clamstar to choose Falconstrike as deputy. One night Falconstrike attacked Clamstar and murdered him- taking what remaining lives he had. Falconstrike didn’t feel much remorse for what he did and he felt justified in doing it. Falconstrike blamed the murder on a beast and appointed what he could assume was the weakest cat he could think of, Sleepywillow, in order to not make the same mistake Clamstar did.

Despite being leader...Falconstar was never accepted in the eyes of The Stars for both his murder of the previous and failing their trials. The Star's refusal in giving him lives greatly impacted Falconstar and he still isn't over that fact today, showing obvious hate and disgust for them and their ‘betrayal’ on what his parents taught him. Falconstar never told a soul of his 1 life given. After becoming leader, he took a childhood friend Pumpkinseed as his mate and later had a kit called Sugarpaw! He loves his family but isn't too close to them.

For moons the colony seemed to be in peace under Falconstar’s leadership, the leader often seen chatting or tormenting his own colonymates. While all seemed well , conflict between the current healer and Falconstar came to a head when the healer went missing one warm night. The only witness to this was Falconstar’s son whom had caught him throwing something off a cliff and into the shark infested water. As Falconstar was getting ready to tell the clan of the healer's disappearance, a strange cat who was caught on their territory was brought to the leader. Much to Falconstar’s shock, it had been his old friend Eclipsepaw- alive and well. Falconstar had guessed it was fate to lose one healer only for an old one to reappear and decided to let his old friend, renamed Eclipsemind, take charge of the role.
