A mysterious Alkarnabi was attempting to make a cure for his son, who was a freakish Alkarnabi with human-like appendages. One would barely consider him a nabi. Since this was unheard of for any Alkar, this disturbed the father deeply. He experimented many, many chemicals, untested treatments and surgeries on a nabi, the result eventually becoming "Experiment 58". 58 eventually became known as Local.

Local stalks the forest beyond the city, close to an abandoned diner and a mildly populated village. He makes a concious effort to not be seen by anyone.
