bio
note: ferry is a dragon age: inquisition oc. he romances cassandra, tries to save everyone, but painfully fails a lot of the time. ferren loves his family and clan deeply. all he wants out of life is to provide for clan lavellan. him and vallana make a great team when it comes to hunting, and pretty much anything else they put their minds to. he was somewhat upset when his keeper chose him to go to the conclave, but ultimately agreed to go. the stress of the event contribuited to his greying hair. at first, he faked believing in the maker for his own safety, but once he was declared inquisitor, he started being open about his beliefs. he tries to harm as few people as possible with his choices, and losses greatly affect him. the shards' whispers have always been distracting to him, making him zone out when in proximity to them. this only worsened after drinking from the well of sorrows, now zoning out more often, and further away from shards. his vision is poor, and only agrees to get eyeglasses after strong persuasion from cassandra. he enjoys sparring, and he uses a sword and shield. after defeating corypheus, he starts to greatly doubt his importance as inquisitor, choosing to disband the inquisition after his reunion with solas. losing his arm took a great mental toll on him, and he chose to become a house husband and raise his and cassandra's son. his name is visus like that one constellation from the frostback basin. he refuses to have anything else to do with the remains of the inquisition. inquisitor vallana au: ferry was ordered by valla herself not to follow her to the conclave, as she wanted to prove to the clan, as well as her brother, that she can do things on her own. ferren could not stay away any longer after he heard of the explosion. he needed to know if his sister was alive and safe. he takes a backseat in the inquisition, being just an agent and allowing vallana to make decisions on her own. he manages to charm cassandra in this au too because i love her and them as a couple. valla occasionally sends him on missions in her stead, when there are no reports of fade rifts. relationships

ferry is stupid and fell for the fact that cassandra could chuck him to the other side of haven if she wished. he brings her flowers every monday and supports her in her endeavors of rebuilding the seekers. they argue about the fact that ferry thinks he should change his last name to pentaghast (they settle on lavellan-pentaghast). valla
ferry and valla are designed to be complementary. he watches out for threats while she hunts. he can be overprotective of his little sister at times. in inquisitor valla au, he is mildly embarassed that valla tells cassandra to spar with him, but gets over it quickly. valla is intensely amused by their relationship. the inquisition
the inner circle: he respects leliana to the point of being slightly afraid of her. trusts josephine with his life. thinks cullen is a decent strategist, but has archaic views of the world, so his advice is often overlooked. companions: close friends with dorian (whom he also probably tried to date) and varric. sees solas as arrogant but likes listening to his stories. detests him after tresspasser. very protective over cole. thinks sera's pranks are dumb, but goes along with them to keep her out of trouble. finds it hard to forgive blackwall, but eventually does. likes drinking with the iron bull. sees vivienne as a threat to his apostate friends, so he keeps her at arm's length. npcs: has a soft spot for mother giselle, and seeks her advice often. distrusts morrigan. keeps hawke safe for varric's sake. loves spending time with lace harding. always asks maryden to play dalish songs. |
