He has a rather low view of everyone, not just humans, unless they can prove that they’re worth paying attention to.
Very meritocratic – he doesn’t care what race a person is, so long as they are competent.

Tries to keep a cool and collected mask but can fly off the handle for hilarious results.
Prefers if people use his given or middle names or an approved nick, and generally dislikes his “family” name.
Zahri was adopted by a cruel (and, to him, incompetent) demon who he despises with a passion. Prior to his adoption, his family name is Varrod, which while dropped, is a name Zahri still holds close and uses for his cat.
Power wise, he’s not a particulary strong demon, but he makes up for it by being really sneaky and good with illusions and a rather proficient martial artist, especially with a polearm.

Slight Pyrokinesis (very slight, he can call up mortal flames that are closer to will o wisps, good for light and a little heat but not burning)
Illusions (much better mastery of that, can cast illusions over selective people in a group)
Naginatadō (finally have an OC who uses that yes)
Claws & Fangs (rarely used because when they pop out, it’s hard for him to retract them which causes problems – have you ever tried writing with them? He’s got problems talking with his fangs and often cuts his lips when he has them out for a while)

LOGISTICIAN (ISTJ-A)
Can’t cook to save his life – he’ll try, sure, but he’s a bit of a lethal chef. Or he just has weird tastes. Regardless, no one else can eat his cooking. He can hardly eat his cooking – that sort of thing is left for his familiar.
Writes wonderfully, but it’s nearly illegible. He carries around a little mini printer with him if he has to write something to someone quickly, or he gets someone else to write for him. He can read it just fine, but most people can’t (Mena can, but Varrod can not).
I’m thinking his adoptive father probably has a stake in the Academy which is one reason why Zahri won’t leave (plus, FS Academy is pretty competent).
Also, the man’s not as much of a bastard that Zahri makes him out to be. They’re just strained because Menahem probably shouldn’t have adopted a kid who was traumatized by the death of his parents while he was also traumatized by the same deaths. Or at least he should have picked up a couple of books on child rearing. Or a nanny. Or pretty much anything but what he did while Zahri was growing up.
But he thinks really highly of Zahri, always calling him “Little Mirza” or “Little Prince”.
Varrod is Zahri’s familiar. May or may not be able to turn into a humanoid form but it’s a construct and not a real cat or demon (similar to ALLMATE, maybe the human form is a magical projection sort of thing?)
Zahri’s parents actually weren’t married because they were totally fine with living in sin (they’re demons, it comes with the territory) plus they didn’t need some fancy paper saying they were together.
