A lightly seasoned chef with a spicy hot passion for cooking, Meringue, or better known as Macdad, has a renowned reputation. Whether his reputation is good or bad depends on who you ask, but there is no doubt Macdad is known for his exquisite cooking and his overloaded ego. He is just as enjoyable to be around as he is annoying, and his strong personality may be too much for some. Nevertheless he somehow maintains his popularity within the cooking circuit as one of the best chefs to season dishes.

Probably his second biggest gift is making the worst of puns and jokes. Some make very little sense, if any at all, and what's worse is that he laughs at them himself. Very, very loudly. They can get so bad, some laugh at how horrible they are instead of the jokes themselves. Whether he does this on purpose is questionable, however he seems not to care which you laugh at as long as you do laugh. If you don't and give him eyerolls instead, the cheesiness of the jokes intensify.

Macdad probably won't ever be a stand-up comedian or willingly share his culinary spotlight, but if there's one thing for sure, it's that he almost always has a smile on his face. That is unless he's defeated in cooking competitions. Ever since he lost his winning streak and title to a younger chef, his burning passion fuels his heart to never lose again-- even if it means having to train under the one that defeated him.

✩Mini Backstory

Back in his culinary school days, when he was earning a master's in the culinary arts, Macdad was a very intimidating bab. He'd work out several days a week, and his hearty eating only added on to his bulk. As such, his school eventually hired him as a security guard of a sorts, often working late while he worked hard in the school's kitchen. Not many kept him company other than a bab by the name of Cream dedicated to proving to the world that there were dark plots behind various popular shops within the big city nearby. Few believed her despite all the handouts upon her stand including Macdad himself. However he was quite intrigued by her devotion to the case when she wasn't giving him a hard time about being on school grounds at prohibited times. It was a lonely but fun time, and he hoped to see his fellow schoolmates again someday.

After receiving his award for his studies and sharpened skills in cooking, he found his way straight into the cooking competition belts scattered throughout Crederia. His tough appearance and sturdy skills in seasoning wiped the competition out, practically snatching the title of Chef King from Crispin, who had been a long time Chef King, within a year or two.

During his many travels, he met a lovely bab who swooned him into a picturesque romance, or at least that's how he would describe it. The two eventually had a child, naming him Mac and adoring his adorable roundness. Having to travel so much left Macdad with not much to spend on his family however. His wife desired to settle at the beach, but Macdad's way of fame never would allow this, and he certainly wasn't willing to give up his title. After years of conflict and possibly jabs at Macdad's obnoxious ways, the two split up. The battle over Mac, now a young child, was full of flames and betrayal, ending with Macdad being able to keep his son, but inflicting many wounds and distrust in his heart from it all.

Now that Mac is an adolescent, Macdad tries his very best to cling to him and his cooking career as the only two dear things left in his life. He already lost his title of Chef King however to a much younger (and smaller) chef by the name of Light, and he's afraid his son is looking to live on his own very soon, not to mention his muscles had withered away over the years. Nevertheless Macdad must keep a smile on his face and brace all to come. With his new career at Babalicious Bakery and his son (accidentally) working there as well, Macdad expects nothing but a grand future ahead of them!! "BWAHAHAHA!"
