Trivia
- Due to his centuries of imprisonment, Crack's right optic is damaged and can't open all the way. Similarly, his digits lock up frequently.
- He fights with a stun pin and teleporter that clocks his position every 3 nanokliks, allowing him to easily out manuever most opponents.
- When joining the Earth team, he claimed he was a "speedster", using teleportation to give the illusion of speed.
That's embarrassing.
A grumpy and antisocial bot that excels in tech development and programming. He's incredibly hard on himself due to his past failures and overcompensates for time lost every time something goes wrong.
Mission
A once well recognized hacker for Cybertron Intelligence and Autobot Scientist, his 'freelance' work for the bounty hunter Lockdown resulted in his arrest by then Sentinel Minor. To combat his unique skill set, Crack was placed in a modified set of cuffs that completely restrained his servos and a unique helm covering that restricts his vision and speech, making it impossible for him to manage any sort of escape.
Trapped in a cell for centuries, Crack's freedom came when the ship he was being transported in had a system failure, leaving the lone Intelligence Officer that was left on board with no choice but to release him in order to override the self destruct. While they were successful, the pair remained stranded together. They did grow close during the period of downtime, until Sentinel Prime and the rest of the Elite Guard finally arrived, which was when Crack finally made his escape, forcing Agent Blurr to take the fall.
Goal
Several decacycles following, Blurr would find himself confronting the assassin, as well as his technologically gifted accomplice. Despite playing along at first, as Crack attempted to release the speedster, both were caught by Lockdown, who expressed his desire to make a deal with the Guard to trade their Officer and their wanted criminal as he "found a better partner investment."
What was unknown to the big chinned officer at the time of his arrest was that Codebreaker's dealings with Lockdown were actually part of an operation to bring the criminal in. It was decided by Ultra Magnus however that the hacker would go deeper undercover, posing as their prisoner while all records of his involvement with the Guard were redacted. And now with both Lockdown and Blurr as witness, he revealed his true nature as being a Undercover Specialist from Cybertron Intelligence.
I don't want to talk about it.
As betrayed as Blurr felt post Codebreaker's reinstatement to the Elite Guard, there remained an affection from their time alone in deep space. Such affection was able to grow properly as he was able to see the true Crack, an insecure but hard working bot, far too willing to push himself too hard, and awkwardly obsessive over little things.
Codebreaker always thought there was something off about the Head of Cybertron Intelligence- from the glazed look in his optics, to the droning monotone voice. Of course, Blurr assured him it was just unfamiliarity with the new chain of command and that he'd get used to it. Trusting the only ally he had post Lockdown, Code went along with it. But he really wouldn't be surprised if it turned out Longarm Prime stepped on sparklings.
At no point during his undercover work did Crack develop any type of fondness for the bounty hunter. In fact, it was the more often than not push back when it came to disagreements that likely led to Crack being replaced. The relief of revealing himself hardly lasted long, as said replacement would break Lockdown out of the Elite Guard's ship, crippling Codebreaker's confidence. Although the Guard still classified the mission as success due to Crack's seizure of Lockdown's entire stockpile of weapons, the hacker fell into a deep depression with decacycles of work wasted.
I keep a small circle...
