Nitrous, based off the chemical N2O, known as Nitrous [Oxide] or Laughing Gas, is the third chem based oc I have made. I had honestly wanted to create an oc based off this chemical for a while but didn't know how to go about on doing it, until I finally got a couple ideas to make him work. I had came up with his design first, then added some personality, then whenever I come up with facts or ideas that may suit, I add them later on as well. As with the other ocs in this set, there is no set story line for him. He is more or less a random oc I wanted to make. So he may be used for a bunch of different settings or ideas; there's no canon backstory for now.
Appearance
His hair is based off the usual color that's used for Nitrous Oxide tanks, it is a standard blue color, maybe a little darker than the usual blue color. It's fairly medium in length, reaching near his chin, and it is wavy. It falls in larger waves though, and slightly swprt towards one side of his head, and the ends curl up. It's not perfectly neat, with some stray hairs sticking out here and there, but for the most part it is gelled up. His eyes are a regular gray/ black color. (Though there are some kinds of nitrous tanks that are a gray/ silver color.) He is fair skinned and doesn't have a lot of scars or blemishes on his body. He's lean builded and is pretty toned.

- Clothing (driver): His racing outfit is just like a standard racecar outfit; it is a dark gray and blue suit with a zipper going down th efront middle. The top half the the torso is a cheackered pattern, and near his neck has a clasp. He has specific sneakers solely worn for racing, and he has a helmet in matching colors to his suit.
Personality
Nitrous is a pretty reckless guy; in short he is a daredevil. He would be the perfect kind of person to use as a stunt double. He's hardly a serious person; the most serious you may see him is when he's gearing up for a race. Even then, he never APPEARS to be serious due to his forever smiling face. He's never seen with a frown, or anything orther than a smile or a grin on his lips. So if, for instance, he were to be sad, he'd have a sad smile. If he were to be angry, he'd have an angry smile (something that appears to be calm but you should know better than to mess with him once he becomes like so).
Sometimes he can be appear to be a little air headed, or high. Well, usually the effcts of inhailing laughing gas does that to someone, along with some uncontrolable giggling. Nitrous could be heard chuckling to himself a lot.
Trivia
- He tends to have a pretty contagious laughter; because laughing gas lol. sometimes can be seen giggling to himself sometisometiosometior just doing this seemingly out of nowhere owo
- Character wise he's a racecar driver; also likes to drag race since there's less rules for that.
- Molecular weight is 44.013, rounded down to 44, which is the number on his driving suit.
- Likes to put whipped cream as a topping on desserts; nitrous oxide can be found in aerosol cans to help push the item out. He can also.just... eat the thing right out the spray can lmao
- He is impervious to pain; this gas can be used as an anaesthetic

Headcanons

- He showers every morning and spends a lot of time on his hair. It gets messed up by the end of every day, though.
- He has a bit of a sweet tooth, though nothing that could cause any worry. He may be caught sneaking out extra packets of sugar in restaurants, however.
- He got his piercings from a bet he lost, but he doesn’t like to admit this so whenever he’s asked about them he just says he liked the aesthetic.
