(first child of Nessa and Leon -unless it's an AU where they have adopted Charles first-, Roy always felt like he had to constantly prove himself in order to both be worthy in the eyes of his parents, and at the same time to gain his own popularity far from their shadow. Tends to make quick assumptions and act accordingly, like assuming (wrongly) expect perfection from him and obsessively training to be the best both as a trainer and physically. Somewhat of an arrogant brat, but gets hurt more easily than he lets on.)

Trivia
- His name comes from the chicory (I didn't like Cory, so went for ory->roy), a plant also known as blue dandelion or blue sailor; roy means king!
- Will never admit it, but his most beloved Pokémon is a little Caterpie, the first 'mon he caught on his own! As a kid he was very proud of being able to beat also flying-types with her thanks to Caterpie's Electric Web move he taught her;
- Interested in fashion, but often dresses so over the top or with fantasy-like garments that looks like a cosplayer;
- Trains a lot to get a physique similar to his father's, but is doomed to not gain much on his arms no matter what;
- Likes showing off with girls, Charles often mocks him for it;
- He prefers using Ultra Balls and Luxury Balls;
- His favorite Legendaries are Cobalion, Zacian and Zamazenta; has an obvious preference for steel-type Pokémon!
