Flame (Rogue)

Rogue is a phoenix who got her name for her past history of traitorous behavior, much of which occurring as a spirit. For this, she would be cursed and confined to a blue gem. For many years, she'd be trapped there with nothing but her own thoughts and regrets, until her container, now adorning a necklace, was placed on the recently deceased corpse of a young jackdaw. Now she shares a body and a powerful spiritual bond with Flame, a young rambunctious jackdaw with a bit too much chaotic energy then she'd like sometimes.

As the very old being she is, Rogue is a wise soul with centuries of information and experiences. While most would feel anger after being confined for so long, she doesn't. She understands why it happened, and has since abandoned much of her past, wanting to move on. The council of the afterlife, however, still distrust her, especially now that she's with Flame. They have deemed that if she causes any problems, they will not hesitate to erase her.

Rogue's direct spiritual bond to Flame has caused her to develop a very similar set of abilities and appearance to the phoenix. Obviously, this means Rogue's powers are very similar to what Flame shows, though maybe with a higher level of expertise. Rogue also has the ability to "step in" if she feels, taking control of the body they both share. She tends to do this if she feels Flame is causing trouble or misusing her powers.
