- She has a mouth and eyes like every other parasites, but choses to never display them

- Her name comes from λ, the speed of a wave train in a medium divided by its frequency
- Despite the legends and fear mongering about her, she has a totally normal host (and Lambda is an absolutely standard parasite ; nothing irregular about her at all)

Lambda is a very quiet and deceiving parasite. Deception and negotiations are her specialties ; her knack for it transpires through her personality.
Her legendary "pokerface" (no face at all) is famous and source of many rumors about her: Lambda allegedly has no soul and hosts a black hole, her keen prying and inquisiveness are borderline abusive, and she can read minds. Or so everyone says. Like many things about her, nothing's been proved for certain. Yet, it has to be true: how else could Lambda achieve the prowess of making Pénurie or Sworm change their minds without some kind of telepathic power?
Robotic at times, Lambda is not far from the mindless combat and technical drones of the sworm in terms of emotions and personnality wise.
personality
Within the chain of command, Lambda is Sworm's most trusted advisor and confident. The two of them go way back, started off as war friends and investigators of the parasite's revolution. Sworm trusts Lambda like no other and Lambda's loyalty is absolutely unshakable.
Ennemies have tried to separate them in an attempt to weaken the parasite's army leadership, but none succeded. Whatever bonds these two is a death deal.
To say these two's relationship is strained is a vaste understatement, as their rivalry and strife of each other is well know within the ranks. What's no surprise however, is the fact this animosity majorly comes from Pénurie's end. Wether it is a form of jealousy or not, she has a tendency to disregard almost all of Lambda's suggestions just by principle. Fortunately for Lambda, she's backed up by Sworm most of the time.
Which is probably where the contention came from in the first place; competition over Sworm's approval, neither willing to relenquish it to the other. To be quite fair, Lambda is a deceitful liar, and she often sneakily twists matters to her advantages, gleefully snatching them from Pénurie. Where Pénurie is straight-forward in her jeopardizing of their plans, Lambda is the indirect work-in-the-dark kind, allowing her to keep her neutral facade in the eyes of others.
Ah, but these are simply soldier's rumors based on tittle-tattle... Who knows what's true?
Lambda's orders are rarely objected by anyone. Even less so in her Special Intelligence & Security unit. As part of the high commanding trio, Lambda's place is hardly ever challenged as well. She is a just and stoic commander, and outside of her duty, is often seen on her own and does not seek company.
