Lambda's most efficient bounty hunter, Denance is a Parasite renegade with no real loyalty towards anyone. He likes whoever pays the most and favors clients who will give him ways to upgrade his illegal warframe.
It's debatable if money is what he likes the most, or if it's the chase of the hunt itself that he craves.Â
Or could it be this obsession with finding new ways to upgrade himself?

Parasites army ➤ renegate
Denance was quick to run away from the parasites army way before it was even freed by Sworm's attack on the factories. He did swing by to help his kind during some assaults, but was mostly working in the shadows with low assassination jobs at the time.
His main priority has always been himself and himself alone, and life as a bounty hunter is good for just that. His obsession with modding himself quickly came to him once he started working on his own and hasn't left him yet.

- The cape is optional and used to go around discreetly when necessary (it is sometimes cleaned…. sometimes)
- The different tools making up his suit can vary: catching nets, hooks, grappling spear, mace, incapacitating rifles, etc.
- Generally one of his arms is dedicated to a weapon (no hand)

- His made-up host-frame is forged from stolen parts coming from Sworm's army but also from contraband. It is not as reliable as the real manufactured frame, but it has been modified to better fit his job. Repairs often have to be madeÂ
- Denance loves adding new mods to his frame to "test things out" but they are, more often than not, only tranquilizing weapons and grappling hooks
- He used to get deals from Lambda, but has chosen to stay away from Sworm's army (Denance's learned chaos often comes with these jobs). However when money is needed, Denance is quick to come back for messy, below the belt jobs for the swormÂ
- His spaceship, nicknamed Strapper, is just as patched up and Frankenstein-eske as himÂ
- Denance has a hunting robot dog monster with the same name and looks as his spaceship. Used to hunt his bounties, the dog-Strapper is barely tamedÂ
Three words: money, remodeling, chasing. There is little else that matters to Denance. Greedy, he can be bribed into taking any kind of work if something he craves is the reward. He mercilessly gets the job done and doesn't care much about what he has to do and who he's doing it to.
His methods of choice include smoke bombs, quick-hardening spray, specialized Parasites traps such as unabling serums and/or devices, and any other trapping tools available on the market to get the job done. Denance specializes in the hunting of his own kind but all species are on the menu when the bounty is high enough.
Denance has the bad habit of taking "trophies" from his victims for his own use: any parts, fluids or useable weaponry can be harvested from his preys no matter how messy the procedure.
His personality is one of a nasty loner but he's not a complete idiot. Risky jobs are easily turned down, especially if he has enough in the banks at the moment, and he's a very good gambler. Whenever he isn't working he's hanging around private clubs and casinos to entertain himself with all the sorts of pleasures you find in these locations.

As regularly used bounty hunter, Denance is on Lambda's private and direct communication line. There are jobs that cannot be done under the sworm's name, so sometimes an anonymous third party must be called. Denance is willing to shut up about what he has to do for them as long as Lambda pays him well. Which is good, because they always do.
Lambda is Denance's favorite Parasite to work with. They always come with a fully prepared file on what to do, how to do it, who to avoid and who not to talk to during the job, and what must be done once everything is over to collect his payment. A well prepared methodology they both enact whenever the sworm needs to do something under the radar.
Of course Lambda is not Denance's only client, and likewise the commander does not work with only one bounty, so whenever things get too heated within the sworm Denance is quick to hit the road running away from the mess until things calm down.
Sweet irony that Pénurie ended up on Denance's hunting list after so many years of getting his deals from her.
He's willing to let her live and not snitch on where she's hiding to Lambda. Hell, Denance will even help Pénurie and her kiddo out a little... For old time's sake.
Of course he knows her, because who doesn't? Indirectly, his work for Lambda is ultimately a job done in and for Sworm's name. Denance keeps as far away from her as possible and prefers to deal directly with Lambda themselves.Â
Scared? Of Sworm? No, he isn't scared.Â
He's rightfully terrified.
Some he dislikes, some he enjoys the company of, but all of them he exploits one way or another when necessary. They do the same to him. Denance works on his own so he never accept any team-up.
