Description:

Strass stands at a height one would consider middling for most IceWings, with generally unremarkable proportions. Their colors of a soft muted blue and gray, the color of an arctic plain. A few small black scales are scattered about their body, perhaps hinting of very distant NightWing ancestry. 


Bio:

Strass is an anxious, shy bookwyrm of the highest caliber. They were raised on the edge of the Ice Kingdom as away from the War of SandWing Succession as possible, as well as away from the Ice Kingdom's strict rules. Their life was predominantly being taught from whatever scrolls their mother Flow could provide, mostly through trading and exchanging goods as a professional tailor. Their father Gyr worked odd jobs as far as Possibility, lacking much in the way of any formal education and being predominantly skilled with physical labor. Ends were met, they lived an uneventful life for the most part, and Strass was allowed to work with Artisan Cartographers in Possibility by the age of 4, learning the craft and becoming quite proficient with surveying and map drawing. By the age of 9, their family and Strass had moved to Possibility, setting up in a small brick house that is partially underground for temperature control, allowing Strass freedom to explore, meet new dragons, and begin their journey exploring and creating new, accurate maps that have become modestly successful in the Sand Kingdom among traders, and now Scavengers. While Strass hasn't made it big, or made much of a dramatic impact on either of the continents, they are content enough to have afforded materials to construct a nice little cottage on the edge of town in Possibility, near their family and services with infrequent, but solid, work opportunities with the Cartography Guild.


Possessions to Their Name (Treasures):

  • Single bedroom brick and wood house on the edge of Possibility, with sleeping chamber in the basement for temperature control. 
  • A small collection of Pyrrhian history scrolls
  • A draconic dictionary, a truly prized possession for the verbosely inclined
  • One antique tea kettle and three tea cups of a four cup set, with the fourth having been lost to the mysteries of time (and totally not broken by accident by trying to juggle too many things at once)

Inventory:
  • Travel scroll, bound in leather with multiple pages stitched together, mostly full of day to day notes.
  • Travel quill, with a small ink well attached to the side, which with one claw press allows more ink to flow into the grooved tip. Created by a Scavenger and sold in Possibility.
  • Parchment for map making.
  • One small multipurpose wood-handled knife for any knife-needing needs, predominantly firewood, whittling, or cutting open stubborn fruit.
  • Sleeping blanket, because one can be civilized on the road after all.
  • Coin purse, full of sand, hopes, and a few rattling coins.
  • Munch Pack, a small little satchel of varies dried berries and meat as rations, not actually called a Munch Pack.
  • Compass.
  • Glasses, for seeing, which is helpful in cartography.
