Ancora

(AKA the one to inspire Adrienne's creation. just a little bit)

Ancora is a sweet and caring person who loves to dress in dekora kei and lolita (sometimes) fashion, but has to (sadly) keep it toned down most of the time as to abide to her school's dress code. She is quite impulsive and quick to act up on feelings, as well as naturally short-tempered, but she knows how to keep herself in check for the former and rarely ever acts on anger.

She was born in the era of segregation, though it had not affected the area in which she was born in — not yet, at least. In an orphanage on the southernmost corner of the giant's kingdom, meant to be the refugee of interracial separation, she grew up for her most tender years. There, Ancora — often called Cora — was raised alongside Griffith, the half-human half-giant, as well as Mikael and Alexis, the twin pair of elves.

Once segragation worsened, however, Mikael and Alexis timely dissapeared as well, said to have been taken back into the Elven Kingdom. Even if Griffith and Ancora were kept together for their shared giant lineage, they slowly drifted apart while refusing to let go of their status quo as friends, a gash in them made by the sudden disappearence of their closest friends; not being able to stand losing someone else and not being able to connect properly, fearing what would happen if they were ever torn apart from eachother too.

This was kept up until the two of them entered a school for the talented and gifted on the art of combat, where segregation had been lifted for the purpose of trianing as many capable hands as possible; there, Ancora and Griffith saw ALexis and Mikael again. The twins, while acknowledging the group had previously been friends, had seemingly shifted into completely different people, and were not keen on maintaining any contact with those in "lower castes"; Alexis had been found to be one of the many elven princessess, and Mikael had been assigned her personal knight. Alongside them, too, trekked Sulfur and Idris - another princess with her knight, who were much more open on preffering to not be spoken to by those of lower status.

The sudden change baffled Ancora and Griffith; especially since they were even trying to feed them that their previous relation as "twins" had been a fail in their orphanage's system and nothing but baseless assumption that was later proven wrong. Seeking to discover wathever was wrong with their old friends, Ancora and Griffith bond over solving this mystery - and bond, too, with another trio of friends who seem suspicious of Sulfur for far more reasons.
