Eme (Stories)

Eme has appeared in multiple stories:

• One (of the most popular) story had a young girl waiting for her parents to come home from their sea travels. She was so worried that she threw her lucky bracelet(that had a round golden charm) to the ocean and begged the sea to bring her parents home. Her parents came back the next day, While celebrating their arrival home, the young girl noticed a small creature just beyond the seashore. The small creature jumped back into the water, revealing a round golden charm at the end of its tail.
• Another story focused on a little boy who fell off the boat. He was terrified as he didn't know how to swim. Something wrapped around him and suddenly he was able to breathe. He opens his eyes and is greeted by the strange creature. It had created a bubble helmet around his head and was cradling him in its fins. The boy was awestruck as his hand reached out to touch it. The eme squinted its eyes and bobbed its head, almost as if it was giggling. The eme kept hold of the boy as it flapped its head fins and swam upwards. Before he reached the surface, a hand got hold of the boy and pulled him to the surface. His parents held him close, relieved that he was alright.
