Personality and Backstory

Gaia is a very excitable and curious water drake. She looks very threatening, but isn't all that dangerous. She is really interested in human lifestyles and it leads her to try to investigate things beyond her size limit. She doesn't talk much, but has a light, airy voice when she does. She doesn't have a lot of friends, but cares deeply for stone and wants to help her become more caring towards others. She never means to inflict harm and gets embarrassed due to her size and her tendency to break things. She can be slightly klutzy and forgets things often, but loves being told stories. She sleeps for long amounts of time and has a diet of almost exclusively fish. Tuna is her favorite.

She might have been human once. But any memories of a different life are fading to her. She stays to herself on the coasts and beaches, eating whatever she can find.

Appearance and Abilities

Gaia is a large drake that most closely resembles a crocodile or Spinosaurus. She has a large head and short legs, a long body and tail, and a long snout filled with crocodile-like teeth. She has small holes in the end of her muzzle for sensing pressure changes in the water. She has no nostrils, so her mouth is always open, and she has lungs so she must come up to breathe. She has three toes a foot, and long claws on each. She has raised bumpy scales running down her sides, and long, jagged spikes that run from her nose to her hip. She has tiny mammal-like ears that always point backwards and clear, white eyes. Underneath her throat, she has a large patch of hard, warm-colored skin that holds her flame pouch. Her flames are actually ignited spit, so it resembles lava. She is very slow on land and moves like a komodo dragon would, but she is quick in water.
