Personality and Backstory

Sage is a hybrid of an elf and a human. She is rejected from both societies, so she is used to being called various names and driven out of places. Her mother, the elf, died in childbirth, and her father tried his best to take care of her alone, even though he really didn't know anything about her. She loved her father a lot. When her father remarried, she did not appear to be a changeling yet. She got a step sister, Evelyn, who she was very close to when they were young. When her first transformation happened at age 15 and she was revealed to be a changeling, her step mother freaked out and tried to murder her. She did manage to kill Sage's father and shoot Sage in the leg, but Sage escaped and went to the police, getting her step mother arrested. Her sister and she went to live with their aunt, who tried her best to support Sage. She currently works at her aunt's flower shop under one of her disguises.

Sage is not quick to trust new people. She either trusts someone completely, or not at all. She can be a bit paranoid and anxious at times, and she is often bitter and holds grudges for a long time.
